Calling Cat/Dog Lovers and Business People Having had Old English Sheepdogs for many years and living outside of the city I soon became very aware of the problem of parasites. Because of the warm year round climate in Spain you also have a year round problem of Fleas and worse still Sheep Ticks. One year, not long ago my dog Junior kept biting himself on the lower back close to his tail. He clearly had an irritation there, despite wearing a flea collar. It got so bad that I had to take him to the vet as he had a nasty infection now on his lower back from biting himself. The vet said that it was some kind of allergy and that he had to run some expensive tests that resulted in me buying expensive dog shampoo that achieved nothing. Then, not satisfied with the advice of the vet, I sought a second opinion at another vet who just repeated the diagnosis of the first vet, without offering any solution or remedy at ridiculous cost to me. ...
